Achieve greatness from within

Built slowly.Built properly.

One-to-one strength and muscle-building coaching in Singapore. Weekend sessions on the gym floor, a weekday programme you can run alone, and nutrition targets built around rice, noodles and the food you already eat.

§02The method

Eat consistently. Train with intent. Recover properly. Track everything.

No twelve-week shred, no random workouts of the day. A small number of exercises, done well, with the weight going up when you have earned it. You do not need to rush the process — you need to get a little better each week.

01 / TRAIN

Hard sets, close to failure

Most working sets end with 1–3 reps in reserve. Full, comfortable range of motion. Two to three hard sets per movement, not five sloppy ones.

02 / PROGRESS

Earn the next plate

Hit the top of the rep range with clean technique, then add a little weight. Rest 2–3 minutes on compounds and 60–120 seconds on isolation work.

03 / EAT

Enough food, every day

Muscle needs energy. Protein, carbohydrate and fat targets set as starting estimates, then adjusted to your bodyweight trend, appetite and gym performance.

04 / RECOVER

More is not always better

7–9 hours of sleep, real rest days, and weekday volume that supports your weekend sessions instead of compromising them.

This is what a session looks like.

Sample from a real weekday programme. Every set gets written down — load, reps, how hard it felt.

§03Coaching

Three ways to train with Eric.

Every option starts with a free consult and an assessment session. No 50-session packages, no lock-in contracts.

Option A

Weekend 1-to-1

Coached sessions on the gym floor. Technique on the big lifts, load tracking, and someone who notices when your elbows drift.

§04Getting started

From first message to first logged set.

  1. DAY 0

    Free consult

A short call or WhatsApp chat: your goals, training history, schedule and any injuries.

  2. WEEK 1

    Assessment session

How you move, what you can lift today, where to start loads. This is your baseline.

  3. WEEK 1

    Your plan, in writing

A personal plan document with your training split, guidelines and nutrition targets.

  4. WEEKLY

    Check in, adjust, repeat

Bodyweight trend, gym performance, appetite and recovery decide the next change. If soreness spills into your weekend sessions, weekday volume comes down.

§05Nutrition

Rice is not the enemy.

You will not be handed a chicken-and-broccoli meal plan. Targets are built around food that is easy to get in Singapore — rice, noodles, bread, tofu, tempeh, soy milk, eggs, fish — and around how much you can realistically eat.

Carbs

“My job isn’t just to give you a programme and tell you what to do.”

— ERIC, COACHEDBYERIC

It’s to guide you, help you learn, and adjust things along the way so the result is something you can sustain. Eric pushes hard on the gym floor, then reminds you that growth takes patience.

[ERIC’S STORY — how he started lifting, how long he has been coaching, the kind of clients he works best with, and why he coaches the way he does. Two or three sentences in his own voice.]

Questions people ask first.

I’m a complete beginner. Is this for me?

Yes. The first sessions are about learning the movements and finding the right starting loads. Nobody is asked to max out in week one.

Where do sessions happen? Do I need a membership?

Sessions run at [GYM NAME / AREA]. [Explain whether clients need their own membership or entry pass, and whether condo gyms are an option.]

Do I have to eat chicken and broccoli?

No. You get protein, carb and fat targets plus lists of easy foods. You don’t need to eat the same meals every day — just hit your overall targets consistently.

How soon will I see results?

Strength usually moves within the first few weeks. Visible muscle takes longer and depends on consistency with training, food and sleep. You’ll see it in your log before you see it in the mirror.

What if I have an injury?

Tell Eric at the consult. Exercises and ranges of motion are chosen around it. Anything that needs diagnosis or rehab is referred to a physiotherapist first.

Can I reschedule a session?

Yes, with at least [24] hours’ notice. Late cancellations count as a used session. Packages are valid for [VALIDITY PERIOD].

§09 — Start your log
